This year's edition of AIPAD's (Association of International Photography Art Dealers) The Photography Show opens with a VIP preview reception on Thursday, March 30, from noon to 8 pm. The show opens for the general public (and VIP attendees one hour earlier):
Friday, March 31: noon – 7 pm
Saturday, April 1: noon – 7 pm
Sunday, April 2: noon – 5 pm
The biggest photography show in the Western Hemisphere returns for a second year and 42nd edition at Center415 (located on Fifth Avenue between 37th and 38th streets) in New York City.
"We are thrilled to be returning to Center415 on Fifth Avenue in New York City for the 2023 edition of The Photography Show presented by AIPAD," said Michael Lee, President of AIPAD and Lee Gallery, Winchester, MA. "Collectors, curators, and our member galleries requested dates that are earlier in the year, and are pleased to be opening in March 2023, returning AIPAD to its well-known place in the art fair calendar. Last year, the show earned rave reviews and critical praise for its tightly focused presentation and new centrally-located venue," added Lee. "We look forward to building on last year's success, showing the best photography in the world, and growing our audience with onsite activations presenting the most inspiring programming."
Featuring 45 leading historical and fine art photography galleries from across the U.S. and around the world, including Europe, Asia, and South America.
The fair will feature fresh-to-market and museum-quality photography including cutting-edge contemporary, modern, and exemplary 19th-century photographs, as well as photo-based art, new media, and even NFTs.
AIPAD is working closely with gallerists, curators, institutions, artists, and collectors to create a comprehensive program for the Show, including the presentation of the annual AIPAD Award and the acclaimed AIPAD Talks program with prominent speakers.
