His photographs are clean modernist views with no artifice.He clearly traveled to France to take a series on Marseilles from the Transporter Bridge, virtually identical to Germaine Krull's own famous series. In addition he did a series of photographs of a sculptor and his work, perhaps of his French relative, the noted artist Gaston Broquet.
