Signed and dated in ink on the recto in the border at bottom of image. With a typed Merry Christmas note on the verso from Lucille and Todd Webb, signed Todd at the bottom. Todd Webb was born in Detroit, December 15, 1905. Webb learned the skills of fine art and photography in the late 1930s at the Detroit Camera Club under Ansel Adams. During World War II, he was a photographer in the Navy. Later he moved to New York City, where by 1949 he gained a worldwide reputation for his photography. Webb died in Auburn, ME on April 15, 2000.
