Photographer stamp and his signed initials are on the verso of the print.Lucien Hervé (born László Elkán on August 7, 1910 in Hungary, died June 26, 2007 in Paris) was a French photographer of Hungarian origin. He moved to Paris in 1929. He began work as a photographer in 1938 for Marianne Magazine. His photos also appeared in Vu, Picture Post and Paris Match.He was notable for his architectural photography, beginning with his work for Le Corbusier. He also collaborated with architects Alvar Aalto, Gropius,Breuer Marcell, Aalto and Oscar Niemeyer. He is known for his beautiful images of Chandigarh, Brasilia and Thoronet. But he also photographed major Parisian sites, including Unesco headquarters and the Louvre Pyramid.During his 60-year career, he had numerous publications and exhibitions in galleries and museums worldwide. A retrospective from 2017-2018 at the Jeu de Paume in Tours spotlighted his work.
