Both the original source in Marsailles and the passe-partout tend to confirm that this image was by the Lumiere studio. Several other plates from the same source and group were still lifes that contained known Lumiere props. In "A. Lumiere & Ses Fils" cardboard passe-partout with R. Dechavannes, Paris, Depose (registration mark for the passe-partout itself). The pass-partout is 8 x 6-3/8 inches. The Lumiere studio often used these pass-partouts for their work, although not exclusively.

International shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their local customs duties and taxes, which will be charged by Fed Ex, which will contact the client prior to delivery.
