About This Image

Photographer's blind stamp on recto mount. This detailed, fascinating view of construction of a tunnel in the middle of an urban setting has us, along with the men on the boardwalk to the right, peering down into the cavernous hole where an antihill of men work. They pause briefly in their labor for the photographer's camera. Provenance: collection of Jaquemin, President of Chemins de Fer de l'Est.

Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
