About This Image

Rizzoli Int'l. Publications, New York, 1990. Hardcover Cloth. Near Fine/Near Fine with a closed tear on the back spine area of the dj. First Printing. Sq. 4to. The author, a fisherman himself, and a photographer, brings together the three arts whose quarry is often elusive: fishing, photography and literature. There are 100 photographs dating from mid-nineteenth-century daguerreotypes to contemporary action pictures. Complementing the photos are excerpts from essays, stories and poems that make up angling's great literature.
